Psychodrama is a time tested technique, since 1921, for moving through creative and emotional blocks and increasing self-awareness. As developed by Dr. J.L. Moreno, psychodrama is a therapeutic action method in which participants act out thier personal dramas (past, present, and future), dreams and fantasies. Get to know and transcend the cast of characters operating inside of you through this action oriented self expression.
Instead of talking about problems and solutions, we take a creative approach using action methods to enact the problem and to enact the solution. Bringing the process to life helps develop emotional balance, insight, and to learn new ways of being. The work is done as an observer and a participant. Psychodrama is a fundamentally wholistic approach to change incorporating individual, interpersonal, and intrapsychic applications.
Designed for those interested in exploring the bridge between personal story, creativity, and the power of community. The overall goal of the training is to develop the participant's spontaneity using the methods of psychodrama. Each session will include didactic presentation, experiential learning, and processing. Participants will explore their process as they expand listening skills while also meeting the challenge of "showing up" or "being present".
Consultations for the creative dedicated to breaking down barriers and igniting the artist within. Designed for artists, musicians, writers, directors, actors and all entertainment professionals. Get to know and transcend the cast of characters operating inside of you through this action oriented self expression.
